PARENT ALERT:: Last week, a video was making the rounds on Tik Tok of a veteran blowing his head off by suicide. This was originally live-streamed on Facebook but was successfully taken down by the platform.
Tiktok users (mostly teens and kids) started reposting it on the app. Tiktok had a more difficult time shutting it down. The video is gruesome and shocking.
I know a couple of kids who watched it and have been upset, experiencing bad dreams. This may be something to check in with your teens about. Here is a helpful article that addresses the issue.
