5 Tips For Coping With Grief On Valentine's Day

Valentine’s Day can be the worst for many people who are grieving. I wanted to write you a short note of encouragement to say that I stand with you. Be gentle with yourself today. Here are a few things I recommend doing to remember your loved one.

  • Look at some old photo albums that remind you of your loved one when they were vibrant and healthy.

  • Listen to an old voicemail or recording to remember their voice

  • Bake a dessert or make their favorite meal to remember them.

  • Make sure you tell a story/memory about them and intentionally use their name.

  • Listen to this podcast interview with Mike Tucker, who lost his wife Gayle to cancer.

Here is a great resource to share a story about your special person.

Stay safe, and be gentle on yourself today,
